Madame Gonna Walska dedicated more than forty years to amassing unique collections and commissioning innovative garden designs. Lotusland preserves and enhances the unique, historic estate of Madame Ganna Walska, cares for and improve its collections, and develops its conservation and horticulture programs, so they educate us, inspire us, and advance our understanding and appreciation of the importance of plants in our lives and in the life of the planet.” –

Since its inception, The Charitable Foundation has provided hundreds of grants to local organizations that promote health, education, community and the environment. Informed by girls and their families, we also advocate for legislation and policies to increase opportunities and rights for all girls.” –


“The Music Academy of the West is among the nation’s preeminent summer schools and festivals for gifted young classically-trained musicians. At its ocean-side, ten-acre campus in Santa Barbara, California, the Academy provides these musicians with the opportunity for advanced study and performance under the guidance of internationally renowned faculty artists, guest conductors, and soloists during its Summer School and Festival, presenting nearly 200 public events on campus and in downtown Santa Barbara.” –


“Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that rescues and rehabilitates injured and orphaned wildlife, including birds, reptiles, and small mammals in Santa Barbara County and beyond. We are licensed by the United States Fish and Wildlife Service and California Department of Fish and Wildlife. Our staff and volunteers currently help thousands of animals each year.” –
